Zachary was welcomed to the world this past December and I was able to be a part of this special time with The Lamb Family. I visited the Lambs in their home to photograph the family with Zachary during his first week. He is such a sweet little man, quiet, calm, and alert!! He didn't sleep hardly at all for us! :) But I do love the photos of him and his big sister Avery, who turned 3 in August. She is such a proud big sister!
It was so great to celebrate Baby Zachary with The Lambs and I look forward to photographing him again this year! Thanks Heather and Dirk for another great session!

The Grohs & The Bihlears // A Family Session in Alhambra Hall in Mt. Pleasant, SC

I love repeat offenders, photography offenders! It was holiday time with the Groh and Bihlear Families last fall and everyone came out for some group family shots. Lauren and Todd and their adorable daughter Lily, joined Kelly and Sean and sweet boy Jake who I got to meet for the first time! I did Kelly's baby belly photos almost a year ago, so it was so great to finally meet this handsome little man! We had a bright, sunny morning at Alhambra Hall in Mt. Pleasant and got some great photos for the holidays.
I'm so glad I was able to photograph these families again!! Thanks to them all!

Who doesn't love photos on the beach at sunset? Check out the amazing lighting we had for The Preacher Family's session on the beach a few weeks ago. I love the photos of the boys playing with Alison and her Mom on the beach after sunset. Bryson and Wilkes are two seriously cute kiddos!

Say hello again to the Lamb Family! July is Avery's birthday month, and this year she is 3 years old! She has grown up so much since our session last summer! This year, The Lambs met with me for their session at The Olmsted Parks on Ponce de Leon Ave. I love the variety of flowers and textures at this park. And, I think Avery did too! :)

Ladies Day Out // A Historic Downtown Charleston Portrait Session
My friend Kristin came to me with one of the most fun ideas I've been part of in a long time. Her three sisters and her Mom were visiting Charleston from Michigan for a Ladies Weekend and she and her sisters wanted to surprise their Mom with a 'Ladies Day Out' Portrait Session. I LOVED the idea!!
Kristen and her sisters told their Mom they had cocktail plans and that everyone had to wear their LBD (little black dresses). They then surprised Mom with a secret rendezvous with me at Rainbow Row to reveal the surprise portrait session! Needless to say their Mom was shocked and excited for the special treatment! Kristin even found cute matching red shoes for all the ladies to wear!
I was so honored to be a part of this surprise with Kristen and her sisters. And I just loved being a part of making someone feel special! Thanks to Kristen, all her sisters and her lovely Mom for the super fun, oh-so-Charleston, inaugural 'Ladies Day Out' Session!
